ABOUT HUNTSVILLE KENDO CLUB

 

Kendo practice is currently back on! See below for the latest schedule/location, and feel free to stop by to observe the practice before joining.

The current practice location is:

Every Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm

Temporary Practice Location for November - December

Trinity United Methodist Church

607 Airport Road, Huntsville, AL 35802

Every Tuesday 6-8 pm

 

When you join our club, please bring your workout clothes, and a Shinai (bamboo sword) if you have. If you don't have a Shinai, we will give you a new one for $35 dollars.

The membership due is $150 for three months. We are a non-profit organization and we collect membership dues to pay for the facilities and activities.

​

Except for those who try out our kendo club, everyone is required to be registered under AUSKF to be covered under accidental insurance. AUSKF members are also able to receive ranks and involve in seminar and tournaments. To register, please visit https://www.unitedstateskendo.com/ We are not responsible for any accidents if you have failed to register into AUSKF.

If you plan to come to one of our Kendo practice sessions for the first time, please double-check our Kendo schedule below since schedule change can happen. Individuals will be encouraged to observe the practice during the first day. Please keep the contact information below so that you won't be lost on the way to our practice session.
