ABOUT HUNTSVILLE KENDO CLUB
Introduction
Huntsville Kendo club promotes Kendo in Northern Alabama. Kendo community in Alabama is relatively small but rapidly growing. Your support and participation for Kendo will help Kendo community grow here in Alabama!
Huntsville Kendo Club began in 2013 and Huntsville Kendo Club was the first official Kendo Club in Alabama registered under the All US Kendo Federation.
In Fall 2014, Huntsville Kendo Club won the first bronze medal in SEUSKF Kendo Tournament in Memphis, TN.

Kendo practice is currently back on! See below for the latest schedule/location, and feel free to stop by to observe the practice before joining.
The current practice location is:
Monrovia Community Center
254 Allen Drake Drive, Huntsville, AL 35806
Every Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm
When you join our club, please bring your workout clothes, and a Shinai (bamboo sword) if you have. If you don't have a Shinai, we will give you a new one for $35 dollars.
The membership due is $150 for three months. We are a non-profit organization and we collect membership dues to pay for the facilities and activities.
Except for those who try out our kendo club, everyone is required to be registered under AUSKF to be covered under accidental insurance. AUSKF members are also able to receive ranks and involve in seminar and tournaments. If you plan to come to one of our Kendo practice sessions for the first time, please double-check our Kendo schedule below since schedule change can happen. Individuals will be encouraged to observe the practice during the first day. Please keep the contact information below so that you won't be lost on the way to our practice session.
